The Vecellio Group’s VanGuard newsmagazine was a four-time winner in the 2002 Communicator Awards Print Media Competition.

VanGuard was honored with a Crystal Award of Excellence in the Marketing/Promotional Campaign category. It also received two Awards of Distinction in the Corporate Magazine and Magazine Design/ Interior categories, and a fourth award for Magazine Design/Cover.

This was the second consecutive year that VanGuard received multiple awards in the competition. In 2001, the newsmagazine received three Communicator Awards for editorial content, design and photography.

Vecellio Group Communications Director Carl Thiemann writes, designs and shoots photos for the VanGuard. He also oversees the group’s web sites, advertising, internal communications and public/media relations.
