(4th Quarter 2002)
Thanks to an endowment by the Vecellio family,
Virginia Tech recently presented its second annual Vecellio Distinguished
Lecture, part of its Vecellio Construction Engineering and Management
Program.
Ted C. Kennedy, Chairman of BE&K, a worldwide
engineering, construction and contract management firm, presented the
2002 lecture.
Virginia Tech has graduated several Vecellio family
members, beginning with the late Leo Vecellio, Sr. (1938), Leo Vecellio,
Jr. (1968) and, most recently, Michael Vecellio (2001).
