Being good neighbors is important to the Vecellio Group operations. Vecellio & Grogan subsidiary Sharpe Bros. received two "Green Diamond" commendations from the National Asphalt Pavement Association for the exemplary operation of its Greensboro, NC, asphalt plants in 2006. The Vecellio Group also had five other facilities receiving the commendation, officially known as the Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Hot Mix Asphalt Plant/Site Operations. The others included Ranger Construction — South’s Pompano Beach, FL, asphalt plant (above), Ranger Construction Industry’s Winter Garden plant (below), and plants in Ft. Pierce, West Palm Beach and Miami, FL.
